The saddest thing ever...

So I'm driving across Rt 100 to head to the grocery store this morning... just a stone's throw from the Dunkin Donut on Lancaster Pike. Lying across the road I spot, to my horror... about 50 squished Munchkins and their crumpled container.

The horror.

Obviously someone set their box of Munchkins on the roof of their car while they fished their keys out, and then unknowingly drove away with the poor little buggers still on the roof of their car. After turning the corner onto Rt 100 they must have sped up... and that was the end of the road for the poor, defenseless little Munchkins. And someone will arrive home to a family just waiting for that Sunday morning sweet, but it won't be there... Imagine the disappointment.

Let this be a warning to you. Always secure your Munchkins safely in the passenger seat before putting your keys in the ignition.

So my friend Rob & I trekked to the Festival Pier in Philly last night to see Muse... Ok, I knew they were good. But I'd only seen them in a festival setting before - to get the full blown show was absolutely smashing. Straight into the top 3 of my all-time favorite bands to see live.

And Matthew Bellamy is my guitar hero.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the groovy fibre-optic grand piano... The top lit up with different colors and patterns as he played. I want one. I'll get rid of the dining room table if I have to.
