Squeaky kitties... (or the tail of the waxed pussy)

I just finished the annual household chore of cleaning and waxing the hardwood floors (shiny!). Now when the cats walk across the room, their feet squeak. Yes - actual squeaky noises coming from their little padded toesies!

This morning's rumble sounded something like this:

Thump-thump-thump... squeak! Crash! Kadunk-adunk-adunk... squeak! Thump-thump-thump.

(The crash bit being the two of them slamming into the vertical blinds and the sliding glass doors.)

I may have to start waxing the floors twice a year, just for the sheer entertainment value.

No actual kitties were hurt in this internet re-enactment.
